Father and Son Teamwork: Opening A New Route In the Italian Alps

Italian mountaineer Hervé Barmasse and his father Marco opened a new route along Monte Rosa in the Italian Alps.  The south-east face route has a total length of 2,624 feet and is plagued with some challenging terrain consisting of loose rock, rock fall and ice fall. They are a team of two who seem to be in sync with each other and with the mountain.

From the looks of the stunning view at the top,  it was all worth it.
