Soaring Over Mozambique

“Flying a site like this is like having an out-of-body experience.”

There are very few untouched places in the world today and to be able to lay claim as the first person to do something like paragliding in one of these places must be such a rush.

Adventure Junkie posted a video of adventure seekers Gavin McClurg and Jody MacDonald soaring over the sweeping desert sand dunes of Bazaruto Archipelago in Mozambique. They found this sweet spot while being on a 5-year long expedition of around-the-world sailing, surfing, kiteboarding and paragliding. Besides the stunning scenery the beauty of flying over dunes is the freedom from the usual protective gear needed because of the soft sand landing.

Watching this video not only makes me feel peaceful and relaxed, it also makes me want to book a plane ticket, secure myself into a parasail and glide over Mozambique.
